OGGS® Carbonara

Ingredients

  • 30ml OGGS® Whole Egg Alternative
  • 110g Spaghetti
  • 50g Plant-based bacon lardons
  • 1/2 onion
  • 100ml plant-based cream or milk (we like soya)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt
  • 50g Plant-based parmesan alternative
  • Olive oil

Method

  1. Cook the spaghetti as per cooking instructions on pack.

  2. Fry the chopped onion, garlic and lardons together with a tbsp of oil

  3. Mix the OGGS® Whole Egg Alternative with the milk and paprika in a bowl

  4. Add the cooked pasta onto the pan with the lardons and onion on medium heat

  5. Pour the OGGS / milk mix into the pan and let it come to a boil

  6. Keep stirring until the liquid has thickened and coats the pasta

  7. Top with your favourite vegan cheese and parsley
