We love these KWERKY little beauties! Check out our recipe for American style pancakes, made using OGGS® Aquafaba and KWERKY powdered plant milk. You couldn’t find a ‘batter’ match!
Ingredients
- 200ml OGGS® Aquafaba
- 4 tbsp KWERKY powder
- 200g plain flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp caster sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- Mix the flour, KWERKY, baking powder and caster sugar in a bowl.
- In another bowl whisk the OGGS for 30-60 seconds, and then add the vegetable oil and vanilla extract.
- Then add the dry ingredients, a spoonful at a time and whisk until a smooth batter.
- Leave to rest for 20-30 minutes until bubbles appear.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan, melt a knob of plant based butter/margarine, and then add spoonful of batter.
- Wait until bubbles appear and then flip and cook the other side.
- Serve with your favourite topping!
