OGGS® and KWERKY Pancakes

We love these KWERKY little beauties! Check out our recipe for American style pancakes, made using OGGS® Aquafaba and KWERKY powdered plant milk. You couldn’t find a ‘batter’ match!

Ingredients

  • 200ml OGGS® Aquafaba
  • 4 tbsp KWERKY powder
  • 200g plain flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  1. Mix the flour, KWERKY, baking powder and caster sugar in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl whisk the OGGS for 30-60 seconds, and then add the vegetable oil and vanilla extract.
  3. Then add the dry ingredients, a spoonful at a time and whisk until a smooth batter.

  4. Leave to rest for 20-30 minutes until bubbles appear.

  5. Heat a non-stick frying pan, melt a knob of plant based butter/margarine, and then add spoonful of batter.
  6. Wait until bubbles appear and then flip and cook the other side.
  7. Serve with your favourite topping!
