Chocolate Muffins

This simple and speedy vegan recipe is a great way to use OGGS® Aquafaba, especially if you need to whip up something scrummy for your mates.

SERVES 36 minis or 12 large muffins


  • 100ml OGGS® Aquafaba
  • 110g vegetable oil
  • 290g sugar
  • 220ml plant-based milk
  • 70g cacao
  • 270g self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt


  1. Mix together the oil, sugar, milk, vanilla and OGGS® Aquafaba

  2. Add the cacao, flour, baking powder, bicarbonate and salt

  3. Mix everything together

  4. Line a muffin tray with cases then fill them up

  5. Bake for 15 mins at 180°C Fan (200°C / Gas 6).
